Studies on the Contents of Heavy Metals in Shellfish Food

Abstract

|
A study was carried out to determin the contents of heavy metals on six species of the shellfish collected in chunnam area. Lead, Cadimium, Copper, Zinc and Manganese were tested by using inductivel couped plasma, mercury by using mercury analizer.
Lead contents in shellfish ranged from ND to 4.92PPM, copper from ND to 2.16PPM, zinc from 7.36PPM to 38.26PP, Manganese from ND to 11.39PPM, Mercury from ND to 0.06PPM.
