A Study on the Construction of Intelligent Building System

Abstract

|
As a computer and telecommunication technology developed and the degree of dependence on information has increased, the concept of office building is rapidly changing.
Intelligent Building is defined as the construction equipped with advanced information systems in order to cope with the development of advanced information industry.
The purpose of this study is to propose the construction method of Intelligent Building System for performing the function as a information system by examining it synthetically.
The construction method of IBS is as follows :
At the first stage, Building Automation, Office Automation and Telecommunication is seperated respectively and established along with LAN. LAN cannot control the whole building system, but it holds communication function.
At the third stage, all the facilities in the building, OA system and TC system ate integrated through LAN.
