Abstract

|
A major problem in business today is to overcome the rising cost of office operations by improvbing office productivity, and Office Automation(OA) is raising up as the main concept to solve problem.
The purpose of this paper is to propose the desirable methodology of pursuing OA in Korean business affairs.
An office is a system of interacting components that purposefully cooperate to accomplish a business function.
Therefore, implementation of OA has need to begin with an examination of the office in terms of its goals by identifying the function that is being realized and seeking improved ways of accomplishing it. And then, it is need to progress through assessing present and future needs, investigating all the products on the market, and then implementing in stages.
