Abstract

|
The purpose of this study is to offer previous data for training of the better opticians and insuring substantiality of the education in junior college.
The research groups consist of the professor of ophthalmic optics, spectacles wearers, opticians, graduates and students.
The research nations are U.S.A in the North America, Germany in the Europe, Japan and Philippines in the Asia and Australia.
The results are as follows,
1. The related educational systems to spectacles are generally the four years system.
And the dispensing and optometry are divided in function.
2. The social recognitions change for opticians due to increase wearere and they require the opticians to study harder.
3. The relative respondents to education give support the extension of the education term.
4. The opticians demand that technical education are afforded to them. Because new materials are in the development stage and the spectacles wearers claim new information from opticians.
