A study on the Development of Medical Record Education.

Abstract

|
This study is to suggest some counterplans to accept hospital information system, to cope actively with the operation of it and to improve the education of medical record.
Since hospital works, medical insurance and hospital management should be equipped with a real curriculum to meet sufficiently the demand of the field, the roles of the specialist of medical record have been increased and the period of education which meets the various requirement of health and medical areas is very short, the period must be lengthened to three years.
Because the duties have been subdivided and specialized, the curriculum must be also subdivided and the unified curriculum and educational method among schools should be accepted.
Medical record administrator and accredited record technician should be clearly discriminated by the national administrative and institutional supports and their roles and functions must be also divided.
