Surgical Retrieval of a Jugular Catheter Fragment from tile Left Pulmonary Artery

Abstract
This case report describes the pulmonary embolization of a fractured Nutri-cath in 5-month old child. Nutri-cath was accidentally cut during removal process due to the catheter infection and its fragment migrated into the right heart, eventually into the left pulmonary artery branch. She did not experience any symptoms related to the catheter embolization. The catheter tip was surgically removed through lateral thoracotomy approach without any complication.
