Abstract
Congenital myotonic dystrophy is a neuromuscular condition inherited in an autosomal dominant fashion, and is most commonly diagnosed in the neonatal period. It is a disorder that affects most of the body¢¥s system, and therefore a condition with which anesthetists must be familiar to provide appropriate and safe anesthesia for this group of patients. Here, we report the anesthetic management of a case of a 3.0 kg male infant with a congenital myotonic dystrophy who had diaphragm plication operation.
