A Study on the Motor and Sensory Nerve Conduction Velocities of Bilateral Upper Extermities in Schizophenic Patients
Hwang Sang-Jong

Abstract
The motor and sensory conduction velocies and latencies of evolsed action potentials and Amplitude of 30 patients healthy physically who had been admitted to Seoul National Mental Hospital daring a period of January, 1987 to October, 1987 were measured.
The results obtained were as followed:
1. The mean amplitude my for median and ulnorr motor nerves was not different from normal group significantly,
2. The mean my for median and ulnat sensory nerve was slightly decreased, compared to normal group.
3. The mean latency of median motor and sensory nerves was not different from normal group significantly.
4. The mean latency of ulnar motor and sensory nerves was decreased, compared to normal group.
5. The mean median motor and sensory conduction velocity was less 2-3 M/S than normal group.
6. The mean ulnar motor and sensory conduction velocity was 1-2 M/S than normal group.
