Abstract

|
The authors studied on the family attitude toward psychosis with 112 case selected from admitted old patients´ families at National Seoul Mental Hospital.
A series of questions framed to detect the family attitude toward financial problems were asked by method of questionnaire and the frequency of familys´ visiting was examined. From the results, the authors could observe the followings.
I. The average frequency of family´s visitings of old patient is 1.67 and that of young female patient is 2.19.
2. The results of questionnaire did not reveal different findings between two groups.
3. The average frequency of family´s visitings was influenced not by family´s economical status but by the frequency of recurrence and periods of morbid state of patients.
