Analysed by HPIC on the therapeutic drugs level in sera and plasma of psychiatric patients.

Abstract
This study has been carried out to evaluate routine analysis by HPLC for the subject patients consisting of 459 blood specimens in therapeutic drugs inpatients of Seoul National Mental Hospital during the period of four years (1984 Sept. ? 1987 Nov.).
In the analysis of Anti depressant, anticonvulsants and Haloperidol in relation to daily dosage and therapeutic effects. The results were obtained as follows;
1. Amitriptyline (ATP)
The analysis of ATP serum level monitoring used HPLC, there was positive linear correlation between the ATP of corresponding peaks 9.68 ATP: 152ng/ml. The small peak of Nortriptyline 8.45 NTP: 123 ng/ml. after injection in the assay of ATP. (see Fig. 2)
2. Dilantin (DPH), Phenobarbital (PBT), Carbamazepine (CBZ)
In the analysed by HPLC to the daily dosage and therapeutic effects to investigated on the 22 Epileptics, the daily mean DPH dosage was 2.4¡¾6.5 mg/kg/D and serum DPH concentration was 3.09¡¾4.97 ug/mi. The daily mean PBT dosage was 0.6¡¾3.0mg/kg/D and serum PBT concentration was 11.1573.81 pg/ml.
The CBZ dosage was 6.3¡¾23.5 mg/kg/D and serum CBZ concentration was 4.417¡¾1.211.tg/ml.
3. Haloperidol (HP L)
The measured serum HPL concentration of 42 patients and assessed their symptoms and clinical Global Impression Scale with evaluated Hospital course.
The daily mean HPL .osage was 28.96¡¾18.26mg/kg and serum HPLconcentration was 67.28¡¾ 43.47 ng/ml. The relationship betwen daily HPL dosage and serum HPL concentration was significantly correlated. (r=0.795, P<0.
