NMR study of braine disease

Abstract
|

|
The magnetic resonance (MR) imagings with 0J5 Tesla resistive magnet were performed in 8 patients and compared with X-ray computed tomography (CT).
8 patients were 5 cases of degenerative cerebral disease and 3 cases of head injury including of subdural hematoma.
The MR images were obtained by using pulse sequence with spin echo technique including saturation recovery, T2 weighted spin echo, and inverion recovery with various pulse repetition and echo delay time. T2 weighted spin echo with long echo time and inversion recovery are effective for T2 and T1 dependent images.
Result of NMR imaging are presented and compared with X-ray CT and the other Radiological examination.
The NMR imaging will not only substitute many conventional diagnosis methods such as X-ray CT but also be useful the early detection of the tumor and other various lesion.
