Abstract
Objectives: This study aims to analyze research trends of counseling supervision in South Korea. For this purpose, we used 76 papers from KCI listed journals published between 2009-2019 for the analysis.

Methods: Wampold and Holloway¡¯s supervision model (1997) was used for analysis by research topic. Also, papers were categorized by client type, supervision format, publishing journal, and research method. Findings were compared to 21 studies published in the previous period (1998-2008).

Results: The results showed that the number of published papers increased 3.6 times compared to the previous period. The increase of the number of papers on ¡°supervisee characteristics¡± and ¡°process of supervision¡± was significant. In addition, research on supervisor training and ethics, supervision structure and outcome, and counseling process were emerging during the time. Research methods were also diversified and advanced, and the use of qualitative research methods was significantly increased. The variety of journals also increased.
