Abstract
Objectives: This paper examines counselors¡¯ perceived issues of child visitation services conducted at Healthy Family Support Centers (HFSC).

Methods: Focus Group Interviews (FGI) were done for 5 counselors of three HFSCs (Busan, Gwangju, Yeoju), who worked in child visitation services. The qualitative data collected from 5 counselors were analyzed.

Results: First, practical issues of child visitation were analyzed by stage of visitation, and different factors were emphasized depending on the stage. Second, practical issues of child visitation were analyzed by type of visitation such as connecting/mediation, monitoring, support/education and counseling/therapy. Third, number of visitation services, quality of counselors, and environment and facilities of HFSC were indicated as the issues of operation and management of child visitation.

Conclusions: The child visitation model based on HFSCs was suggested, and some issues of operating child visitations at HFSCs were discussed.
