Abstract
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to develop a cognitive behavior family therapy-based mobile app(called¡ºFamily Story??) for family therapists and to explore the applicability of digital treatment tools on family therapy sites.
Methods: An online focus group interview for nine family therapists was conducted to evaluate the developed mobile app after three days of use.

Results: First, family therapists were found to have little experience and understanding of cognitive behavioral family therapy and digital treatment tools. Second, family therapists as subject of this study mentioned in COVID-19 where face-to-face contact is difficult, there was recognition of the convenience of digital tools being usable without time and space constraints. Also, some strengths of using the mobile app as one of the new intervention techniques to family therapy has been mentioned. On the contrary, it has been pointed out that there are some limitations of digital treatment tools and some challenges to overcome the inertia of existing analog methods.

Conclusions: This study is meaningful in that it has developed a digital treatment tool that has not yet been activated in the domestic family therapy field and experimentally explored the introduction and applicability of digital treatment tools.
