Abstract
Purpose : This study is to evaluate the physical evaluation of the two instruments, each Protocol-specific doses and Phantom image using a variety of Protocol provided by Philips" Xper CT and Siemens"s Dyna CT.

Materials and Methods : The FPCT protocol for each test in XperCT and DynaCT was studied, The dose comparison experiment was performed with the Dose Area Product (DAP) (¥ìGym2) and Air Kerma (mGy) provided by each equipment company. The phantom image comparison experiment was compared with four items such as Uniformity, Slice thickness, High contrast resolution and Low contrast resolution.

Result : In Philips" FPCT Head protocol, Cereb. HD had the highest dose and was excellent in image evaluation. HR ICS (8 ") protocol showed the highest high contrast resolution. In the Philips FPCT Abdomen protocol, the propeller scan method had a higher dose than the Roll method, and the image quality was excellent but not statistically significant. (P = 0.611) In Siemens" FPCT Head protocol, 20s DCT 70kV was the highest dose and the best in image evaluation. In Siemens" FPCT Abdomen protocol, the 6s DCT showed the highest dose and was excellent in image evaluation.

Conclusion : The dose was found to be 20 ~ 30% less in Philips XperCT, and the Siemens DynaCT was better in image evaluation. Also, Slice thickness is correct in all protocols, while Uniformity is only suitable for Philips FPCT Head protocol. Therefore, it seems to be preferable to apply the protocol appropriate for the patient condition and the purpose of the test.
