Abstract
Eye movement abnormalities in movement disorders may be undetected or ignored because they are relatively subtle compared to their major motor symptoms-hypokinesia or hyperkinesia. However, various kinds of eye movements can be impaired in extrapyramidal disorders involving basal ganglia, such as Parkinson¡¯s disease. Here, we describe overview of neuro-ophthalmologic findings that can be useful in diagnosis, treatment and determining prognosis in patients with movement disorders.
