Endometriosis in the abdominal scar following cesarean section is very rare condition. So, the scar endometriosis still remains difficult condition to diagnose, and high index of clinical suspicion is required to diagnose. A 38-year-old woman who had had a cesarean section presented in a Family Medicine Clinic with a right-sided lower abdominal pain and mass that had gradually aggravated since 6 months ago. The pain started 3 years ago and she visited several medical clinics, but she didn¡¯t have definite diagnosis and treatment. Patient was diagnosed as rectus sheath hematoma sonographically at a local sugical hospital two days ago. The pain was cyclic, and especially severe during menstruation. This patient had surgical excision, and endometriosis was confirmed by histopathology. We have experienced one case of endometriosis in the abdominal scar following cesarean section. So, we report the case with a brief review of the concerned literatures.
