Results : The most common major diagnosis was diabetes mellitus (8.1%), followed by hypertension (5.2%), pneumonia (3.7%) reflux esophagitis (2.9%), scrub typhus (2.6%) and headache indicative of internal medicine (2.6%). For instance, family medicine residents scored 1.0 higher than internal medicine residents on a 5-point Likert scale in questions that examined dietary habits, exercise habits, smoking, drinking quantity, mentality, family trees or family dynamics, cancer screening and adult immunization of inpatients with regard to the clinical method of inpatients, family medicine significantly differed from internal medicine.
