Diuretic Effects of Palsun Brewing Water

Abstract

|
|
This study was attempted to investigate diuretic effects after the administration of Palsun Brewing Water in rats. Changes of renal function were evaluated by water balance, urine volume, urinary excretion of eletrolytes and creatinine, free water clearance, plasma levels of atrial natriuretic peptide and aldosterone. The administration of Palsun Brewing Water accompanied with the decrease of water balance and amounts of potassium, with the increase of amounts of electrolytes, sodium and free water clearance excreted in urine. It accompanied with the increase of urinary excretion of creatinine, with the decrease of plasma levels of atrial natriuretic peptide and aldosterone in rats.
