Abstract

|
Korean medicine as a medicine of remedy not as a medicine of restorative which acted in common with the people since the dawn of history is winning public recognition overcoming short non-authoritative act period after the japanese imperialism. This research was intended to know the institutional position of korean medical doctors working at public health centers and to survey an attitude of patients visiting korean medical doctor’s clinic at five public health centers of each self-governing body in Gwang-Ju. Above all, the institutional position of korean medical doctor as a civil official is low. But the patients visiting korean medical doctor’s clinic at public health center had a firm belief that the korean medical doctor is very reliable and that his treatment is very helpful to health.
