Abstract
Objectives: A pharmacokinetic study to evaluate wild ginseng pharmacopuncture solution was performed to rats. Urine and blood samples were collected and analyzed in HPLC.

Methods: Rats were injected 1ml of solution of wild ginseng pharmacopuncture(SGP) intraperitoneally and blood samples were collected from tail vein and urine samples were acquired in individual metabolic cages. The ingredients of wild ginseng, bear gallbladder, musk, and ox bezoar were analyzed separately as well as mixed solution for standard.
Results: 1. Most ingredients of SGP solution standard were shown in the retention time 12-30 miutes. 2. Serum samples did not show significant peaks in the same retention time with standard SGP solution. 3. Urine samples showed peaks with same retention time with standard SGP from 12 hour especially eminent after 48 hours. 4. These results may be interpreted as SGP was not accumulated in the serum but excreted as urine.
