A Case Report on Perilunate Dislocation with Korean Medical Treatments

Abstract
Objectives : The purpose of this study is to report the clinical experience of Korean medical treatment for Perilunate dislocation.

Methods : The patient was treated using acupuncture, electroacupuncture and pharmacopuncture treatment for 6 times. Reduction was performed at 5 days after injured. We evaluated the patient through verbal rating scale (VRS), disability of the arm, shoulder and hand (DASH), range of motion (ROM) before treatment performed.

Results : VRS¡¡is changed from 7 to 4. DASH score is changed from 75.83 to 60. ROM is changed from 10¡Æ to 45¡Æ in wrist dorsal flexion, and from 10¡Æ to 30¡Æ in wrist plantar extension.

Conclusions : Korean medical treatments including anatomical reduction improved pain and functional limitation of patient with perilunate dislocation.
