Objectives : The purpose of this study was to investigate the anti-inflammatory activities of V Yakchim (V), TA Yakchim (TA) and SH Yakchim (SH).
Methods : To investigate the anti-inflammtory effects of V, TA, and SH, nitric oxide (NO) production, interleukin-6 (IL-6), and tumor necrosis factor-¥á (TNF-¥á) in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-treated Raw 264.7 macrophages were measured.
Results : V, TA and SH (100 ¥ìg/ml) decreased 17.2%, 12.7%, and 56.3% of NO production, respectively. V, TA and SH also showed anti-inflammatory effect by inhibiting IL-6, TNF-¥á cytokines.
Conclusions : These results suggested the possibility that the anti-inflammatory effect of V, TA and SH.
