Abstract

|
Objectives: This study is a report on the treatment effects of myofascial release pharmacopuncture in for patients with lumbar herniated intervertebral disc.
Methods: Four patients diagnosed with lumbar herniated intervertebral disc were treated with myofascial release pharmacopuncture.
Treatment effects were measured using the numeric rating scale(NRS) and Oswestry disability index(ODI).
Results: All patients who received myofascial release pharmacopuncture treatment reported an improvement in their symptoms. There was
a significant change in the NRS and ODI scores before and after treatment.
Conclusions: The results suggest that myofascial release pharmacopuncture can be an effective treatment for lumbar herniated intervertebral disc. However, further research is needed.
