The Study of Patients Visited Korean Medical Clinic in Athletes' Village Polyclinic at The 2014 Incheon Asian Paralympic

Abstract
|
|
|
Objective : The purpose of this study was to analyze characteristic of patients visited Korean medical clinic in athletes village polyclinic at the 2014 Incheon Asian Paralympic and provide basic data for specialization of Korean medicine.
Methods : We investigated 319 cases of patients (athletes, officers, volunteers, and staffs) who had visited Korean medical clinic in athletes village polyclinic at the 2014 Incheon Asian Paralympic from 13, October 2014 to 26, October 2014.
Results & Conclusions : 1. Mean age of male patients who visited Korean medical clinic was 38.73±11.466 years old and that of female patients was 38.80±13.058. Male patients was 64.6% and Female patients was 35.4%.
2. Patients visited Korean medical clinic from 18, October 2014 to 24, October was 64.5%.
3. The nationality of most visited patients was Korea(42.3%).
4. The total number of patients was 319; athletes 142(44.5%), officers 93(29.2%), volunteers 43(13.5%), staffs 38(11.9%).
5. The rate of patients who had experienced acupunture treatment was 62.1%.
