Abstract
We report on an interesting case with folding of vanishing testis mimicking torsion of an undescended testis. On surgical exploration, folding of inguinal mass within Denis-Browne pouch was found and the structure was proven to be fibrovascular tissue with blind-ending spermatic vessel and vas deferens which was anatomic hallmark of a vanishing testis. The possibility of a vanishing testis and orchiectomy may be considered in addition to torsion of an undescended testis in patients with acute abdominal pain and an empty ipsilateral hemiscrotum.
