Abstract
A posterior urethral valve (PUV) is a widely known condition that generally presents during the prenatal period or at birth. But PUV has rarely been described during adolescence or adulthood. This report presents a case of late PUV that was diagnosed in an adolescent. At a young age, the patient received surgical treatment for hydronephrosis, but not treatment for PUV. He visited in our hospital for his dysuria, nocturia and intermittent fever and he was diagnosed as having a PUV.
