Ju Hyun-Taek

Woo Seung-Hyo
Abstract
Fibrous pseudotumor is a very rare paratesticular tumor, especially in children. We experienced a fibrous pseudotumor in 14-year-old boy who present with slowly growing, painless scrotal mass. It was a low echogenic lesion without calcification or fluid collection around the mass and had a well-defined boundary with the testis on ultrasonography. Intraoperative frozen biopsy for the tumor showed benign, and we performed simple excision of the tumor. The tumor was 2.5¡¿1.8¡¿1.5 cm in size and attached to parietal tunica vaginalis. Microscopically, the mass was composed of dense fibrous tissue with scattered mature lymphocytes and plasma cells infiltration.
