|
The Korean Society of Pediatric Urology, which was in succession to the group of Pediatric Urology, held an inaugural meeting and first symposium in 1992. The 25th symposium was held in April 2012 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Korean Society of Pediatric Urology. The regular meeting took place semiannually. There are 165 regular members
and 87 associate members in the Korean Society of Pediatric Urology, now. The official homepage of Society was opened at April 2006, and it was useful to members and the public. Since 2009, The Korean Journal of Pediatric Urology has been published semiannually. The next goals of the Society are the globalization, expansion of basic and clinical parts,
self-renewal, developments of new areas, advancement of fellowship, introduction of subspeciality and vitalization of volunteer service.
