Abstract

|
The objective of this case report is to introduce Locator attachment for implant retained overdenture in maxillary edentulous patient. We don’t have any consensus of treatment in the edentulous maxilla and the effect of anchorage systems and palatal coverage of denture base on load transfer in this area. Implant retained overdenture using four implants and Locator attachments in the edentulous maxilla is considered stable because of the minimallyinvasive operation, the simple prosthetic process and easy repair. This clinical report described the treatment of a maxillary edentulous patient with these prosthetic solutions.
