Abstract
Lymph nodes of eight cases of Hodgkin¢¥s disease and a human tonsil and a lymph node as control were studied with an immunoperoxidase technique for the detection of immunoglobulin G, kappa and lambda light chain and alpha -1-antitrypsin in the various cells of the various subtype of the disease. Stained cells are Reed-Sternberg cells, histiocytes, plasma cells and piasmacytoid cells variably with IgG, kappa and lambda light chains. Alpha-1- antitrypsin is stained in the cytoplasms of Reed-Sternberg cells and histiocytes.
