A Case of Visual disturbance by Viper Bite.

Abstract

|
The authors experienced a case of visual disturbance due to a snake bite inhabiting in south Korea, so called Doksa. The patient was a 27 year old salesman whose symptoms and signs were visual disturbance(light perception) and concentric contraction of the field.
However no changes were noted in infra & extraocular tissues. Daily injection of 5% Dextrose 1000 cc by patient himself was done. All symptoms and signs were subsided 11 days after bite.
