A Case of the Posterior Lenticonus

Abstract

|
Posterior lenticonus is rather uncommon abnormality in which a prominent spheroidal elevation: extends into vitrous from smooth posterior surface of the lens.
¢¥The author has recently experienced a case of posterior lenticonus in a 25 Year old Kosgan man.
The sharply circumscribed lenticonus manifested a startling brilliance. The base of the lesion was ill outlined and an arc-like opacity of posterior lens capsule surrounded the lesion. At the base of protrusion were flecks of brownish pigment.
