Abstract

|
Thinoliths are rare in nasal cavities and maxillary sinuses. They are usually exogenous origin but accassionally may be endogenous origin. They are usually unliateral and vary in size or more in weight. They are largely composed of clacium magnesium salts.
Recently we experienced three cases of rhinoliths in nasal cavities and on case of rhinolith in maxillary sinus. Under local anesthesia, three rhinoliths in nasal cavities were removed with nasal bayonet forcep??, suction tip and hook, the other one in maxillary sinus was removed through Caldwell-Luc¢¥s operation.
