Abstract
Fetal lung maturation can be assessed by observation of stable microbubble (less than 15um in diameter) rating test, and shake test of amniotic fluid. SMR and shake test were perforrmed 111 cases. They were 80 cases of preterm, and 31 cases of
term
delivered. Fetuses with strong microbubble and +4 shake test will not developed RDS.
Absence of microbubble and negative shake test suggest high-risk of RDS.
@ES The results were as follows.
@EN 1. The incidence of RDS was 46.9% in preterm deliveries and 3.3% in term deliveries.
2. The RDS incidence rate of SMR test was 2.7% in strong SMR, 16.6% in medium SMR, 88% in week SMR, and 100% in very weak and zero.
3. The RDS incidence rate of shake test was 0% in +4 group, 4.5% in +3 group, 44.4% in +2 group. 60% in +1 group, and 88.8% in 0 group.
4. The sensitivity of the shake test and SMR test were 75.7% and 83.3% respectively. The specificity of the shake and SMR test were 95.6 and 86.3% respectively. The positive predictability were 73.3% and 92.1% respectively. The negative
predictability
were 87.7% and 90.4% respectively.
5. As an indicator of fetal lung maturation. SMR and shake test are shorter-time consuming, lesser expensive and simple methods. Two tests have significant value to diagnosis of RDS SMR has more significant value than the shake test.
