A Comparative Study on Medical Resources in Quantity of Korea and Japan.

Abstract
People who make use of medical facilities have increased greatly since all the people of Korea joined in medical insurance in 1989.
For protection and promotion of health we cannot help utibmig medical facilities. We, furthermore, want the benefits of good medical care with ease. To enable more citizens to receive them with ease, we should have plenty of good med-ical fatties in a zone of our life.
If we had oversupply of medical facilities, we should have disadvantage from the national economic point of view, which raise many other rill effects.
For that reason, we must keel optimum levels of medical resources-factories and manpower¡¯s not excessive but enough. For the investigation of optimum levels of medical resources it is worth while to study and compare the present condition of our medical resources with that of other advanced nations.
This thesis chase Japan as a subject to compare with. The result verified that Korea has 39% less general hospitals and hospitals and 10% less beds then Japan, but, in other medical resources, Korea has more excessive ones than Japan. -39% and 10% are the proportion of less holding amount to the present one of general hospitals and hospitals of Korea.
The excessive holding amount makes up as follows : Cinies-43 %, Dental hospitals & Cl¢¥urics-25 %, Physicians-62%, Dentists-90%, Midwives-13%o, Nurses18%, Nursing aides-58%o, (Percentage numbers of a proportion of the each excessive holding amount to the present one of medical armies of Korea.)
To keep optimum levels of medical resources, Korean government should practice two policies of adjustment. The first is supplementation for the less medical nurses. The second is control for the excessive medical nurses and then the gone meet must do her best for the efficient application of medical moves.
