Factors Affecting the Image Quality of Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography



Abstract
Single photon Venation Computed Topography (SPSCr)utilizing the instillation camera, is now widely used Clinical application of SPBCT may include the detection of organ defect, measurement t of organ volume and quantitative measurement of radionuclide accumulation in the oran Te quality of S CI¢¥ images largely mood by the data acquisition method and the data proomsurg alguntlim, and should be evaluated by such parameters as spa-tial resohrtion, contrast resolution, signal to now ratio and linearity between the SPECT value and the activity concentration.
In this paper, the principle of SPBCT and some factors affecting the image quality of SPECF were classified.
