A study on the Job satisfaction of dental hygienists


Abstract
The purpose of this study prugretses dental hygienists degree of jab satisfaction and increases efficiency of man power management about the oral treatment.
The subject on study sampled 59 dental hygienists who work for general hospital and local clinic in Jeon Buk in 1992.8
The results were as follows
1. The average score of quitting or not quitting their job (3,8135) is the highest in dental hygienist¢¥s degree of Job sat-isfaction. The factors of jab satisfaction are the importance of duty, the allowance of duty, the demand of practical knowledge, and self -confidence of duty. The factors of job dissatisfaction are the chance of promotion, the system of wages, the system of welfare, the level of wages of contribution, and the dentist¢¥s understanding.
2. The d of job satisfaction in age according to the younger you are, young age are satisfied with their job satisfaction. There are the little differences in the way of official performance (P>0.01), the contribution of duty (P< 0.05), self confidence of duty (P<0.05).
3. The degree of job satisfaction in career, according to the younger you are, the younger you are, have dissatisfac-tion. There are the little differences in the contribution of duty(P<0.05), the way of official performance (P<005).
4. The degree of job satisfaction in where on duty. The local clinic is higher than general hospital. There are the lit-tle differences in the system of wages (P<0.01), the chance of promotion (P < 0.05).
5. The degree of Job satisfaction in the site \here on-duty. All researching subjects have dissatisfaction. There are the little differences in the system of wages of contribution (P<001) and in the importance of duty (P>005).
6. The degree of job satisfaction in the average of on duty hours. All subjects have dissatisfaction. There is the little difference in the system of wages (P>0.01).
7. The degree of job satisfaction in monthly salary. All subjects have satisfaction. There are the little differences in the way of official performance (P<0.01), the system of wages (P <0.01), the level of wages of contribution.
