Study on Structure and Physical Characteristics of Anti-Scatter Grid

Abstract
We measured the transmission of primary radiation, scattered radiation and total radiation of grids(8:1 10:1, 12:1, 14:1, 16:1) by a fluorescence meter, when the phantom is a 15cm thick water, and tube voltages are.80kV, 100kV, 120kV, 140kV.
Then, physical characteristics(selectivity, contrast improvement factor, grid exposure factor) are calculated by these transmission.
For user of grid, contrast -improvement factor, and grid exposure factor are especially important, and the result indicate that high ratio grid, without an increase in grid exposure factor.
