Bronchiolitis Obliterans with Organizing Pneumonia (BOOP) is a disease characterized pathologically by the presence of granulation tissue plug within the lumina of bronchioles and alveolar ducts and patchy areas of organizing pneumonia, consisting largely of mononuclear cells and foamy macrophages, in the surrounding lung. On CT, BOOP is characterized by the bilateral areas of consolidation involving mainly the subpleural and/or peribronchovascular regions. We describe a case of atypical pattern of BOOP with review the literature.
