A Case Report of Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma in Trachea

Abstract
|
|
|
Adenoid cystic carcinoma in trachea is rare disease. Frequently it is impossible to complete resection due to infiltrative
growing along submucosal and perineural layer. A 34-year-old lady visited clinic due to abnormal pulmonary function test, caused by middle trachea tumor. The tumor was resected with microscopic tumor positive margin. The tumor was confirmed to be adenoid cystic carcinoma. She was treated adjuvant radiation therapy postoperatively and was fallow-up without tumor recurrence for 9 years.
