Clinical observation of Endometriosis

Abstract
The following conclusions are made from the clinical observation of thirteen cases of Endometriosis during past three years.
1. These thirteen cases of Endometrosis corresponded to 0.27 percent of total new patients and 8.5 percent of total hysterectomies.
2. Among these thirteen cases, Endometriosis interna were twelve cases in number, whereas Endometriosis externa was only on case of Ovarian endomecriosis.
3. Even under the same heading of Endometriosis interna, the clinical manifestations were different according to the site of occurrence: for seven cases of Uterine adenomyosis, the average ege was 43.1 years, prenancy rate 3.2 specific symptoms were menorrhagia, irregular bleeding and dysmenorrhea. The size of uterus was generally larger than fist.
4. On the other hand, in five cases of Tubal Endometriosis the average age was 29.8 years, pregnancy rate 0.8, specific symptom was dysmenorrhea. The size of uterus was generally smaller than fist.
5. It was conceived that the cause of Uterine adenomyosis seemed to be relate4to hornunal disturbances, However Tubal Endometriosis was most likely to be related with ascending gonorrheal lesion.
6. In every case of this study, preoperative clinical diagnosis was uncertain mainly because of complicated pathology.
