Xeroderma Pigmentosum with Squamous cell carcinoma on dorsum of nose and the tumor removed with plastic surgery technique

Abstract

|
The patient was 16 years old Korean girl who had characteristic manifestations of Xeroderma pigmeutosum over the entire body surface, particularly pronounced lesion being appeared on the skin of face and neck and developing Squamous cell carcinorha, 2.5 to 3.6cm. in diameter and 1.0cm. in Night elevated from the skin, on the mid-portion of dorsum of nose, and the tumor was removed with plastic surgical, technique and the result obtained to be satisfactory in cosmetic appearance, and no recurrence of the tumor was noted for about three years and half follow-up observation. Author reviewed the literatures of the disease and made extensive discussions on etiological factors, diagnosis and treatment of the disease.
