A Case of Treacher Collins Syndrome

Abstract
The Treacher Collins Syndrome (Franceschetti-Zwahlen Syndrome) is malformation of, facial bones, auricles, external auditory canals and ossicles due to embryonic developmental arrest.
This was first described for the congenital coloboma of lower eyelid by Berry in 1888, and later this syndrome was established by Treacher Collins in 1900.
The author has carried out reconstruction surgery on the external auditory canal and middle ear under the operating microscope of 12 years old male patient with the chief complaints of hearing disturbance, meatal atresia, and poor mandibular development.
