Abstract
|

|
Warthin´s tumor of the parotid gland is rare benign tumor and mainly occurs in parotid salivary gland.
This tumor is known as papillary cystadenoma lymphomatosum or lymphomatous adenoma and affects male more commonly than female. This tumor usually occurs in tail of the parotid gland is characterized by slow, painless growth.
The tumor have the ability to concentrate the radioisotope technetium-99m and specific histopathologic finding,
A case of Warthin´s tumor of the parotid gland occuring in 64-Year-old male patient is treated with complete surgical excision and superficial parotidectomy
