Abstract
We experienced 4 cases which represent seizure, hemiparesis, mental retardation and hypoplasia of controlateral extremities of the brain lesion.
Dyke-Davidoff-Masson syndrome is a neuroradiologic, clinical entity which developed cerebral hemiatrophy and hypoplasia of controlateral extremities, enlargement of ventricle and prominent pneumatization of petrous pyramid of the temporal bone.
The
clinical presentation consists of variable degrees of facial asymmetry, involuntary movement such as seizure, athetosis, chorea and mental retardation. This disorder should be differentiated from cerebral palsy because of different therapeutic
approach
and outcome.
