Report of 3Cases and Review of Cryptorchism

Abstract
|

|
3 Cases of cryptorchism treated surgically are presented.
All cases were treated with gonadotrophin, at first, respectively 6,000 IU, 7,000 IU and 27,000 IU in doses. The first case was resulted to slight descent, the second case was nonresponse and the third case with marked descent, But there were never complete descent into the scrotum.
The first and third cases were bilateral and the second case was unilateral(Left). All cases were treated surgically by Bevan´s technic(Orchiopexy).
In review of the literatures, it is emphasized that orchiopexy dose not decrease the incidence of the malignant change and biopsy of the testicle is important for evaluating the ability of fertilization, and also orchiopexy is not done for preventing the malignant change but promoting the fertilizing ability.
