Abstract

|
This is a case of myxoma of the left auricle of the heart occurring in an eleven year old girl. Symptoms and physical signs were similar to those produced by mitral stenosis which was due to rheumatic heart disease. Heart failure was pr ogressively developed despite of therapy. She was suddenly expired on 32nd day after admission. A myxoma was found on autopsy, which was in the left auricle.
