Abstract

|
Three cases of the superior mesenteric vascular occlusion and a case of the inferior mesenteric cascular occlusion are reported which were successful results of treatement in extensive resection of the massive gangernous bowels except one pationet of death. A review of the loterature in regard to surgical management and early diagnosis has been carried out. The most important clinical symptoms were manifested such as postpradnial abdominal pain, weight loss, constipation, occult blood, vomiting and abdominal distension. In surgical management, extensive resection of the massive gangernous bowel was performed with pre & psot perative correction of fluid & electrolytes, Blood transfusion, massive antibiotics, asequate anticoagulants and steroid homones.
