Studies on the neutralizing phenomena of heated klebsiella phage by the lower concentration of antiserum.

Abstract
|
|
|
When the klebsiella phage is heated at 65°C, the appearance of phage inactivation was first order kinetics up to about 20 minutes and, after that, a slight upward curve was followed.
When the heated and normal klebsiella phage are neutralized by the lower concentration of antiserum, the initial lag period was appeared in both cases and the lag period of heated phage was a little shorten than that of normal phage. The appearance of inactivation of normal phage was almost two-hit curve while that of heated phage was a curve less than two hits.
